Dr. Winchester is the medical director of the NICU at St. Francis - Indianapolis, a community hospital in Indianapolis. He provides clinical care to infants in the NICU and attends high-risk deliveries. He also assists in clinical education of the nurse practitioners and fellows, and attends in the NICU at Riley Hospital. His clinical research interests include the effect of prenatal betamethasone and the effects of intra-uterine growth restriction on the maturation of sucking and breathing. He also participates in a newborn intensive care follow-up clinic.
